Een van de zangeressen van de Jazz Centrale is Agnes. Met haar prachtige stem brengt ze de mooiste bossa nova's, de vrolijkste samba's en heerlijk swingende latin. Agnes is net als al onze andere musici uiteraard professioneel jazzmusicus en conservatorium opgeleid.
Tasteful for almost any occasion
You can expand almost any line-up of "De Jazz Centrale" with vocalist Agnes. She can play with a duo of piano and double bass for an intimate atmosphere at your dinner or small reception. But also with a larger jazz quartet for a complete swinging Jazz Band in at your party. For really small occasions it is perfect to only book Agnes with a jazz guitarist. This will create a particularly intimate atmosphere in which the sultry sound of Agnes' voice will fill the room in a very tasteful way.

Agnes specializes in Bossa Nova. That is the wonderful sultry rhythmic jazz music from Brazil that has taken a huge flight in the years '50 and' 60. Partly thanks to the beautiful songs by Antonio Carlos Jobim ("The Girl from Ipanema"), Astrud Gilberto, Joao Gilberto, and many others.
In the original Portuguese
With "De Jazz Centrale" we can deliver unique quality thanks to Agnes because she sings the Bossa Nova's in the original Portuguese language. Where most singers in the Netherlands have to limit themselves to an English translation, Agnes can sing the beautiful Bossa Nova repertoire in the original language and that gives a huge extra dimension to this Brazilian music.

Lisanne and I had been looking for a good jazz band with a Latin touch for a long time. We were delighted to find the "De Jazz Centrale" and were immediately sold when we heard the beautiful sounds of Bossa Nova in Agnes' repertoire. The performance more than lived up to our expectations. It is a shame that we were unable to enjoy it even more because of all the conversations at our wedding. I would definately book them again!

All guests have responded very enthusiastically to your musical performance, with the right volume, the quality of the musicians and also the singer frequently mentioned. The line-up of drums, piano and bass were an invaluable good advice for our space, in combination with the beautiful, warm sounds of Agnes! You have actually brought what we had hoped for and had in mind beforehand. The only sad thing we found the fact that we have fully enjoyed you, but have not been able to convey this personally. We were probably so impressed with the atmosphere that the personal thank-you was left out. But hereby our maximum thanks. It was really great!
