One of the singers of "De Jazz Centrale" is Agnes. Agnes specializes in Bossa Nova, that wonderfully sultry rhythmic jazz music from Brazil that took off enormously in the years '50 and '60. Thanks in part to the beautiful songs of Antonio Carlos Jobim ("The Girl from Ipanema"), Astrud Gilberto, Joao Gilberto, and many others. In this line-up with guitar it is possible to create this wonderful South American atmosphere with a small band at your party, event or business event.

In the original Portuguese

Of "De Jazz Centrale" thanks to Agnes we can deliver unique quality: she sings the Bossa Novas in the original portuguese. That gives an enormous extra dimension to this Brazilian music. Where most female singers in the Netherlands have to limit themselves to an English translation, Agnes can play a beautiful Bossa Nova repertoire in the beautiful original language.

Modest volume

This jazz duo with guitar and vocals or piano is very compact and creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The timbre of our music in this line-up is very mild and at a particularly pleasant volume.

Because the volume is so modest, you can use a jazz duo for small-scale dinners with your company, intimate wedding dinners or business meetings where the soft volume is very important.

Compact dimensions

If there is only little space available for the band, a jazz duo can almost always play. With this duo we can already perform on an area of 2 by 2 m2. And because the volume is so modest, your guests will still be able to understand each other - even when they are standing close to the band.
